For the first time, I decided to bake something for this blog expressly because I wanted to photograph it, not because I wanted to eat it. I stumbled across the recipe for Pomegranate White Chocolate Chunk Cookies on the Two Peas and Their Pod site (great site if you’re a foodie, by the way) and immediately wanted to take a crack at shooting these babies.

Pomegranates. Those little seeds are soooooo tasty and everything about them is beautiful. I’m a sucker for ruby red food. 🙂 Ah, but the work one must do to get those little jewels out.
