Just dropping in with a quick note to let you all know that I’m taking part in another creating challenge! This one is 28 days of creating with #OpusDailyPractice, running through the month of February.
Opus is a local BC chain of art supply stores where I get most of my supplies. This is not a sponsored post – it’s just where I shop. I like their stuff, I like their art programs and I love their monthly art newspaper they send out to regular customers – it’s seriously my favourite thing to get in the mail every month.
Between them and Above Ground Art Supplies when I’m in Toronto, I can get pretty much everything I need to keep me happily creating at home and one the road. Good art supply stores are my happy place!
So… anyway… I’m taking part in this month’s Opus Daily Practice and I’ve decided to do Heart Art! It seemed like a good idea for February. My idea is to create food related doodles in the shape of hearts. I’m going to keep going with my rainbow theme and my year of colour and do red, orange, yellow, green, blue/indigo (that might be hard – throw your blue coloured foods at me!) and violet (purple).
Maybe I’ll do brown except I hate brown – it’s such a boring colour on it’s own.
I won’t be doing a complete heart each day but I will be working on them each day!
You can follow along on my Instagram account where I’ll be posting everyday and if you feel like joining in that would be really fun – be sure to let me know your IG handle if you decide to take part and I’ll follow along!
