I love Thai food. As you may remember, I tried my hand at Thai Lettuce Wraps a few months back.
Wellll… while I was toodling around on the internet the other day, I noticed a tweet by one of my favourite local Thai restuarants: The Thai House.
They do cooking lessons!! O. M. G. That’s right… OMG. I am in my thirties and I am saying OMG. So me and my friend Diane are seriously thinking about giving it a shot. It looks so fun, not to mention delicious!
If you’re in Vancouver, you probably know about the Thai House and the other restaurants in their group so if Thai cooking is something you’ve always wanted to learn, you might want to check this out. And if anybody out there has done their cooking class, let me know. I want to hear about it!
On a side note, that is only related to food if you love stadium hot dogs, I have to share this. One of my oldest and bestest friends, Don, and his friends Peter, Ted and Damon, have been working on a documentary series called Pilgrimage. It’s all about pilgrimages to iconic sports venues around North America and getting to experience them in a way that very few people ever get the opportunity. They’ve put a promo/sample show up of their pilgrimage to Notre Dame.
I’m not even a football fan but I love what they’ve done and I’m giving them a plug here because I want to see more… especially some baseball… Wrigley? Fenway? You bet!
You bet we want to do some ball parks. They have great food too. How about the garlic fries at Quest field or BBQ in Cincinnati or the pulled pork at Safeco field (or as I like to call, the pork train)
I would love some food posts from some of these places. Maybe you can be a guest poster! But you need to take me along to photograph them 😉
