Valentine’s Day. I got some of the old school candy hearts from the lovely folks at The Candy Aisle and I had to do something fun with them. I had no cinnamon hearts this year to make cinnamon heart art, as I usually do. So candy heart art it is! Something all soft and pretty and girlie is sorta what I was going for.
But the stark reality this year is:
Yeah, this year it’s just me. Big chorus now: awwwwwwwwwww. Ok, thanks. I feel better now 
Well, at least I got to make some fun pictures from it!
And as always, this is just a reminder that giving a gift to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada (or your country’s equivalent) for Valentine’s day might just be a gift that keeps the one you love around a little bit longer so you can hold hands on the front porch when you’re 90. I think that’s a lot more romantic than a box of chocolates or diamond earrings
